A Photographic record of Observations and Creations by a Cosmos Collector. Conceptual, narrative and abstract landscape imagery. At the borderlands of thought – Between Chaos and Design, Beauty and Ugliness, Unity and Diversity, Temporal and Eternal… Seeking to investigate and communicate what “Is” (The Cosmos) through the microcosm of his rural family land in the mysterious, elemental swamplands of Gulf Hammock, FL. Primarily influenced by literature, cinema and conceptual Photography – specifically, the writings of C.S. Lewis, George Macdonald, G. K. Chesterton, the films of Russian director Andrei Tarkovsky (Stalker, Mirror, Solaris), and the works of contemporary American artist Doug Aitken.
